Are you guilty

There are many double standards we all might be guilty of. For example, have you ever laughed or joked about other people but when it happens to you it is not funny.

when you make a joke about other people do you stop and think about what you might have said and do you even care. usually when it is not about you and if it is funny it is alright with you.
but put yourself in their shoes. lets say you trip and fall or do something embarrassing, you wouldn't want someone making fun of you.

Genders

have you ever had someone tell you, your dreams are just fantasy's or you cant do something because of your gender. If you are a boy you might have heard that you cant cook, cry in public, they are supposed to be tough and " There also exists the belief that guys are often required to do 'men's work' outside of the home such as mowing the lawn, cleaning the garage, etc., and not 'sissy women's work' such as cooking and cleaning, etc. " Often when boys get hurt, 'scrape their knee', or come whimpering to their mother or father, the fated words, Little boys don't cry, issue forth. " sometimes girls are not allowed to do men's work and/or play men sports like football.

law makers that breaks the law

There are many important people who make and reinforce the laws. For instance our government, courts, and the police. People who make and reinforce the laws are not perfect and can sometimes even break them. For example one police man from California broke many laws while driving on the street. he didn't really get any normal punishment a regular citizen would have gotten because he was a police officer after he denied it and was found guilty.

there was also a woman driving drunk at 2:00 A.M
another police was caught shoplifting

Pink

Double standard is when different groups of people have different opinions on a certain topic.
Have you ever noticed how girls are able to wear pink shirts without getting criticized but when boys in general, wear it or other bright colors they get criticized. On one school a few kids got hurt, just because they wore pink.

do you agree or disagree ?
